Artificial intelligence researcher David Levy at the University of Maastricht in Netherlands has made a shocking comment.
“My forecast is that around 2050, the world will legalize marriages with robots."
Further in his comprehensive thesis, "Intimate Relationships with Artificial Partners," Levy conjectures that robots will become so human-like in appearance, function and personality that many people will fall in love with them, get intimate with them and even marry them.
"It may sound a little weird, but it isn't," Levy said.
This gives a clear indication where the world is heading. We are redefining relationship with others and becoming mechanical animals.
Why ?
When robots are becoming more human like, human are becoming robots.
Due to rapidly growing technological advancements, humans are moving away from values. Hi- tech is not Hi- touch. There should be a value for Human Touch. We are heading towards an era where there’s no price for emotional human relationships, values and an era where we’ll recognize only rational mechanical relationships.

One of the biggest reasons for this development is the way our new generation is growing. At the age of 6 from the time an individual starts going to school to when he comes out at the age of 19, these individuals are running behind material achievements. There is no time slot in the mind of the young generation for spiritual development.
If you analyze the type of music the young generation is exposed to, you will be able to fathom the issue. Recently when I was travelling with a group of youngsters they start skipping all good old songs in a CD and listening to so called ‘modern’ songs which only had nice beats but no meaning. Their worlds are full of “John Seena” and “Rathu Ratakadju” but not with anything soothing to their minds.
At the same time due to the highly competitive environment, parents are directing their kids only to develop certain sets of skills. Sports, music, films, literature or even religious activities are not treated as serious avenues to develop personality. There is no difference between a robot and a kid and even to add 10 with 10, kids need a calculator. This lifestyle has given birth to a generation with no sense of culture and spiritual values.
As a Uth Mirror reader you have a responsibility. If you belong to the young generation it is your duty to find time to seek out quality stuff. Your personal development and things you are exposed to are greatly interrelated.
German born American social Philosopher and Psychoanalyst Erich Fromm once said;
“The danger of the past was that men became slaves. The danger of the future is that man may become robots.”
Robots do not hold on to life. They can't. They have nothing to hold on with - no soul, no instinct.
Never allow that to happen to YOU ! ! !
